Private Rates

Our rates are in line with the standard fees for therapists in California, reflecting our extensive education, experience, and clinical training.

Additionally, we understand that some clients may wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance providers. For your convenience, we offer the option to request super bills. These super bills provide detailed information about your sessions, including the date, duration, and cost of each session, and clinical diagnosis (Required by Insurance) which you can then submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

  • Therapy Services: $175-200 (50 min)

  • Coaching: $175-250 (50min)

  • Consultation: $150 (60mins)

  • Workshops/Trainings: Based on consultation.


Insurance

Healmatic Group Practice is in- network with the following Insurance providers:

United Healthcare, Optum, Oxford, Oscar health, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross California, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, UC Ship Insurance

Below are some questions to ask your insurance provider to determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible?

  • If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have?

  • If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Financial Assistance

Healmatic partners with different organizations that fund full/partial therapy sessions, to see if you qualify for these programs, we encourage you to complete the application for each program and review their guidelines. Please see below for the programs we currently work with: Loveland Foundation and Aakoma Project.

We do believe mental health services should be accessible to everyone so we do accept some clients at a reduced hourly session rate (Sliding Scale) based on their financial circumstances.

A client may request a sliding scale based on need to assist with the cost of therapy, but this is not a guarantee. Sliding scale reduced session fees are not long term and are offered when there is a sudden or situational financial stressor.

Sessions fees will be revisited after 60 days to reassess one’s ability to pay the full amount.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.

Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
