Reconnect, Heal, and Thrive with Brittani Williams, LCSW – San Diego Therapist
You try to cope by throwing yourself into work, hitting the gym, or reading self-help books, yet the disconnect between what you know logically and how you feel when triggered continues to grow. Anxiety can lead to avoidance, leaving you frustrated as you drift through tasks instead of focusing on what truly matters. You long for meaningful relationships, but fear, unworthiness, and past trauma hold you back, leaving you feeling isolated even among family and friends.
I started Healmatic as a group practice, but I have since transitioned to a solo practice, providing focused, personalized care for high-achieving individuals in San Diego. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-doubt, offering a safe and trauma-informed space to reconnect with your true self. Many of my clients feel consumed by what others think, seeking validation in relationships but feeling unfulfilled. I see the person behind the public success—the one battling inner turmoil and longing for healing, connection, and peace.
My clients are often the ones no one worries about because they’re hardworking and great problem solvers. However, when conflict arises in work, family, or romantic relationships, it can leave them feeling misunderstood and overwhelmed. For many of them, anxiety is a normal feeling; for a few, it’s a new experience. Typically, it's something physical that prompts them to come in, like a panic attack or crying for days. A lot of people come in deeply caring and being consumed by what others think of them, seeking validation in friendships, work relationships, or romantic relationships. They desire to feel valued in relationships, but this is often lacking.
I offer a safe, trauma-informed space where you can reconnect with your true self. My approach integrates traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, with Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, and Parts Work, helping you release emotional baggage and find lasting change.
Imagine yourself feeling more aligned with your true self, handling anxiety with confidence, and setting boundariesthat make your life easier. Picture a life where you're not just surviving but thriving—building meaningful connections, experiencing joy, and feeling truly valued in your relationships. Envision a future where you no longer feel consumed by the need for external validation, but instead, find strength and worth within yourself, allowing you to create deeper and more fulfilling connections.
You don’t have to face this alone. I am here to support you every step of the way. Take the first step toward reclaiming healing and liberation. Click below to schedule your free 15-minute consultation and discover how I can help you find the peace, joy, and meaningful connections you deserve.

Growing up with limited access to mental health resources, Brittani aims to explore how art, including Hip-hop, and culture can promote healing. Her goal is to destigmatize therapy that acknowledges and embraces individuals' complete identities, including their mental health, cultural, gender, and societal aspects. This podcast isn't your typical therapy101; it's a space for authentic conversations about navigating life today. While it may not be perfect, it's crafted with love, positive energy, and a clear purpose. Tune in to connect with some amazing guests and discussions!
